ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technical field, 5 years of experience in field required.
• Working knowledge of VA/VE process
• Proven record of project and team management.
• Manufacturing process experience.
• Use of project management tools / software.
• Strong written and verbal communications and must be comfortable presenting to all levels of the organization.
• Proven leadership of cross functional teams.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
• Ability to travel.
• Exceptionally productive, even in the absence of daily, direct supervision.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Experience in Woodworking or the Furniture Industry.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the implementation of VAVE projects, for the AME Region,

Champion the VAVE process within Programme Management, in close cooperation with Purchasing, Vave manager job description, Customer Engineering, Quality, Programme Management and Operations.

Improve communications between AME and Global plants including SDS (China).

Deputise the Global VAVE Director in meetings and managing the Global VAVE Team

Maintain the Master Timing Plan file and report out the Full Potential On-Time Metric
