Vava Egg Shaped Kids Baby Night Light Review
Found that it is something to vava light blinking blue with the USB cable I was using to charge it.
Pressing the little “reset?” button next to the sync button caused the camera to restart and it worked fine again. When I connect it to the USB cable in it’s permanent position, it would start the flashing red/blue/red/blue/… again. When I used a different USB cable, it worked fine. Just a flashing red to indicate it is charging. When I used the permanent position USB cable to power another device, it worked fine. It seems that just the camera is not happy with the permanent position USB cable.
I switched the cable out to another one and it is fine.

How to Use
Power On / Vava light blinking blue and hold the Power Button for 1.5 seconds to power on /
off the night light. When the light is on, adjust the brightness
by tapping on the Top Touch Zone, or adjust the color
temperature by tapping on the Middle Touch Zone. When the
light is powered off, all touch buttons are disabled.
Desktop (Touch Mode)
Brightness Control: Tap and press on the Top Touch Zone to
increase or decrease the light's brightness. The LED
indicator will blink blue when the maximum or minimum
brightness is reached.
Color Temperature Control: Tap and press on the Middle
Touch Zone to adjust the color temperature. The LED
indicator will blink blue when the highest or lowest color
temperature is reached.
Standby Mode: When the light is on, lightly tap on aquasystem vav 150 Top
Touch Zone twice to turn off the light and enter standby
mode. Tap twice again vava light blinking blue wake up and turn on the light.
Note: In normal cases, the LED indicator will slowly blink blue
in standby mode for you to easily locate it in the dark. When
the battery is low, the LED indicator will slowly blink red. When
being charged, the LED indicator will fast blink and turn solid
blue once fully charged.
Portable (Manual Mode)
You can use the night light as parallel vs series vav portable LED light or
camping lantern. Press the Power Button once to enter
portable mode. In this mode, the Top Touch Zone and Middle
Touch Zone are disabled to prevent wrong operation caused
by accidental bumps.
Brightness Control: Press the Power Button to cycle through
100% full brightness, 50%, and 10% brightness mode.
SOS: When the brightness is set to 10%, press again to
activate SOS mode.
In portable mode, you can tap on the Top Touch Zone twice to
return to the Desktop Mode.

Is there a way to turn off the light in the power button? It is the sole source of light at night and I’d prefer that it was inactive.

Hi @sushi_chef The status indicator or the power button will stay on if the VAVA 4k projector is connected to power but currently turned off. The indicator will only go out if the projector is on and working properly or if the VAVA projector is disconnected from its power source.

ugh so projector must be unplugged every night or we will have the “free VAVA nite lite”
other devices offer the option to turn this on or off, e.g. my Eero wifi hub

Hi @Grumpy_Dad. As standard with other devices if the projector is not in use we highly recommend unplugging this from the outlet or power source since this device may work for 24 hours but not really designed for this type of use just like internet routers/modems which is normally used 24/7.

My Vava outdoor home cam shows power sign on the battery status in the app which according to me is an indication of charging issue. When I plug it in the red LED illuminates and stay solid. I can access camera feed only when it is plugged in and without I can’t reach it and it doesn’t monitor either. I have pressed reset button, power button 10 seconds but nothing is helping. Could you please help?

Update: Now I see that the red LED isn’t illuminated and seems the camera isn’t charging and battery is down. Not sure, how do I make it to accept charging.
I left it with power plugged in and after 2 hours it is warm but not charged.

Hi, @rohitbaliyan We appreciate your feedback. We will check this for you. Hope this helps. For the LED indicator if the camera is fully charged the light indicator should be SOLID RED, if it’s charging it should be Flashing Red slowly. How about if you try to unplug the power cable first and let it drain out and charged it back in.

@TeamVAVA the light indicator is not blinking and it is vav anlamı nedir solid either. It does not flash red or any other color when the cable is plugged in. Connected the cable shows the RED light indicator for a some seconds but then it stops and does not do anything. Seems the current is reaching in but further charging is not happening. I tried different cables and the vava light blinking blue and electrical outlets but the vava 4k hdr ust is same. Moreover the camera was connected to power through Vava solar panels provided with the camera and it seems it stopped accepting charge some time ago as it appears that the battery is totally drained out as it can not be reached.
